SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Nivel académico.
Mechanical Engineering BSc Degree or National Higher Diploma. (B Tech optional).

Funciones.
Primary responsible for assuming design engineering responsibility for all phases of engineering activities and work with minimal supervision
Responsible for mechanical design activities and compilation of specification, datasheets and documents in accordance with client / legal requirements.
Selection of Vendor equipment on technical basis.
Design, specifications, selection and construction support of package units for chemical and industrial plants

Requerimientos.
Familiar with:
API, ANSI and ISO standard for Pumps and compressors.
Other international standards for design, selection and manufacturing of rotating equipment and machinery.
Clients Specifications and standards.
Package unit design standards
At least 8 years mechanical engineering experience on rotating equipment.
At least 2 years in the project environment compiling conceptual, basic and detailed engineering packages.
Good understanding of vibration and condition monitoring, balancing and lubrication systems.
In depth understanding of multi stage high speed pumps, high speed gearboxes and variable speed fluid drive couplings will be to the applicants’ advantage.
Ability to integrate overall system requirements and infrastructure requirements for design packages and generating of associated design philosophies.
