SENIOR PIPING DESIGN ENGINEER

Nivel académico.
A relevant Technical Diploma (T3 or equivalent) is the minimum requirement together with a sound knowledge of both local and international industry codes, standards and practices, A.N.S.I. B31.3 - DIN - A.P.I. etc

Funciones.
Manage the piping design discipline of any particular project
Supervise and lead a team of designers
Co-ordinate with all other respective disciplines
Ensure all project/company standards are implemented and adhered to.
Manage and ensure the piping discipline adheres to the project schedule and budget.

Requerimientos.
The applicant should have at least 15 years experience in plant layout and piping design in the Petrochemical and Chemical Plant industries.
Computer exposure should be Autocad Version 2000 as a minimum, knowledge of MS Office and preferred hands-on training on one of the current industry 3D piping packages, PDMS or PDS.
As this position may require site work, the applicant should preferably have previous site experience and be familiar with site procedures, codes and safety (Sasol).
